It won’t be like this forever 
The waiting 
The guessing 
The hoping 
Will someday come to an end 

But today 
I will choose to be content 
Through Christ’s strength 

Because I can’t escape 
And I don’t want to live 
Always rushing 
Always wanting 
Always longing
For what I don’t have
